Ryu Hye Young may soon be joining Lee Jong Suk and Moon Ga Young in tvN’s highly anticipated legal drama Seochodong (working title).
On November 15, OSEN reported that the actress is in discussions to star in the upcoming series. In response, her agency KINGKONG by Starship Entertainment confirmed, “Ryu Hye Young has received an offer to join the drama Seochodong and is currently reviewing it.”
Seochodong promises a fresh take on the legal genre, diving into the lives of associate lawyers navigating their careers in Seocho Judicial Town, a hub of legal activity. The script is penned by Lee Seung Hyun, a practicing lawyer, ensuring authentic, real-world narratives that explore the growth and challenges faced by lawyers in their daily lives.
Lee Jong Suk is set to play Ahn Joo Hyung, a seasoned lawyer with nine years of experience, known for his meticulous and logic-driven approach. Meanwhile, Moon Ga Young is reportedly in positive talks to portray Kang Hee Ji, a determined second-year associate at Jo Hwa Law Firm.
With its star-studded cast and unique premise, Seochodong is shaping up to be one of 2025’s most anticipated dramas. The series is scheduled to premiere in the first half of next year on tvN.
