Rosé, member of BLACKPINK, has just made K-pop history in the United Kingdom! On October 25 (local time), the Official Charts—often dubbed the UK’s equivalent to the Billboard Hot 100—announced that “APT.”, Rosé’s new collaborative single with Bruno Mars, debuted at an impressive #4 on the Official Singles Chart.
With this achievement, Rosé has reached a remarkable milestone for K-pop. “APT.” has set a new record as Rosé becomes the first female K-pop artist to rank so highly on this chart, even surpassing previous placements of major girl groups. In addition, the single topped other charts, hitting #1 on the Official Singles Downloads Chart and landing prominently on the Official Singles Sales.
This isn’t Rosé’s first time making waves on the UK charts. In 2021, her solo debut On The Ground entered at #43, making her the first female K-pop soloist to secure a spot. Now, with the success of “APT.”, Rosé is reaffirming her global impact and the far-reaching power of K-pop.
Congratulations to Rosé on this monumental achievement!
